FARMING<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

Lee Tainment Group recently entered the farming fray production mainly focusing on maize production on large quantities using recently three farms in Mpumalanga province.The Poultry Chicken is a secondary phase our company will set its aggressive approach to farm production. <\/span><\/p>\n

Maize is the most important grain crop in South Africa, being both the major feed grain and the staple food for the majority of the South
<\/span>African population. For the 2002\/03 marketing year, maize was
<\/span>responsible for the largest contribution (13.78%) to the total
<\/span>gross value of the agricultural production with a gross value
<\/span>of  <\/span>R9.5 billion. Poultry slaughtered followed closely with a contribution of R8.6 billion (12.5%).<\/p>\n

The South African maize industry is also the largest maize industry in Africa by far. In 1997, the industry was deregulated and the Maize
<\/span>Board was abolished. Since 1997, product prices have been determined under a free market condition and are formally
<\/span>traded on SAFEX. The major production areas are situated in the Free State, North- West and Mpumalanga Provinces.<\/p>\n

MILLING<\/b><\/p>\n

Lee Tainment Group has diversified into Milling around South Africa,The company has set its firm approach in
implementing three factories as the first phase and gradually grow,expand and stabilize to other South Africa provinces.<\/p>\n

Kindly note that the milling industry is summarised as an industry
<\/span>that consists of 22 large scale millers that account for two-thirds
